Online Carers Forum

Eating Disorders Victoria has created an online community for families, friends and partners of people with eating disorders called 'Care & Share'.

It provides a virtual meeting place to share stories, experiences and knowledge, give and receive support, learn coping strategies and feel less isolated.

This online community for carers of a loved one with an eating disorder also offers a chat session in real-time (once a week), as well as the opportunity to post questions via the forum (anytime) and share with others in a similar situation.

A message for Care and Share users

We realise how important it is for you to have a reliable chat room and we recognise that there have been a few technical problems with the mc2 site over the past couple of months. For this reason we have decided to switch from the mc2 technology to the service that people with an eating disorder are currently using (Recovery Chat Room). We anticipate that this setup will run more smoothly.

This means that you will temporarily not be able to access our online chat room until our new and improved chat room is up and running. We don't expect this will take a long time and we will definitely inform you when it is ready. We will also let you know how to gain access.
