Grantors

Eating Disorders Victoria wishes to thank the following major supporters and benefactors for their financial support of the work that we do.

Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation

From 2009 through to 2011 the generosity of the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation is providing major grant support totalling $190,000, funding our program 'Caring - About Recovery' which focuses on expanding community awareness around prevention of eating disorders, and skills-based programs to support families who are trying to help a loved one with an eating disorder.
In 2008 and 2009 the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation provided general grants totalling $40,000, to expand the role of our Family Support Officer from 3 days a week to full time.

Mental Health Council of Australia

In 2007-08 we were pleased to receive a generous grant of $40,000 from the Mental Health Council of Australia to enable four capacity building projects to commence.

Department of Human Services, Victoria

In 2006-07 Eating Disorders Victoria received an extra grant from the Department of Human Services for facility improvements. This has been spent on ensuring our facilities meet occupational health and safety requirements, including improved lighting, heating and cooling and workstations; refurbishing our client support room to make it more comfortable and welcoming for visitors, and relocating our library downstairs to make it more accessible for visitors.
